November’s Sketch Comedy in Toronto

Ah November, that sweet month between Halloween and Christmas when no one feels obligated to do a holiday-themed show. We have listed five exciting sketch comedy shows with a dynamic variety of styles.

The Second City JCB Series –
November 1-3 at John Candy Box Theatre

The Second City Toronto is remounting some of the funniest shows from the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival including Anesti Danelis’ Six Frets Under, the Tita Collective’s Tita Jokes and Gillian Bartolucci’s The Weight of it All. Tickets

Sweet Dreams – November 5 at The Theatre Centre

Comedians Tia McGregor, Meg MacKay and Surer Qaly weave a series of sketches interspersed between a stellar line-up of comedians to explore fantasies, nightmares, and the thin line between. Tickets

Weird Al Karaoke – November 8 at Comedy Bar

Weird Al Karaoke is a monthly song parody show where comedians sing live original parody songs they have written to a backing track. Tickets

Soda Fountain – November 14 at Comedy Bar

Graeme Achurch and Nathan Hare bring their hit variety sketch show from Vancouver with special guests. Soda Fountain has performed at Montreal Sketchfest, and Portland Sketchfest, and JFL Northwest. Tickets

Blood – November 14 and 21 at Bad Dog Theatre

A highly anticipated solo show by Joe Amero. Blood is an unbelievable true story about life, death and family.  Tickets
