Submissions are now OPEN for the 20th edition of The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival!
You heard that right, it’s TOsketchfest’s 20th anniversary and that means we’re on the lookout for the best scripted comedy from across North America and beyond from now until November 10, 2024. Our 20th anniversary festival is going to be better than ever. Trust us when we say, YOU wanna be part of it.
This is your one stop shop for all things TOsketchfest submissions!
TOsketchfest25 will take place in-person March 5 – 16, 2025 and we’re looking to program a full slate of hilarious live performances plus a selection of the funniest digital shorts for the TOsketchfest Film Festival. The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is programmed through a combination of curation and our adjudicated submissions process.

We are using Zone Festival to collect LIVE festival submissions for in-person performances March 5-16, 2025. Please note, acceptance into past festivals does not guarantee a slot in future festivals.

TOSKETCHFEST FILM FEST
The TOsketchfest Film Fest is on the lookout for the best comedy shorts in the world produced in the last year. Character bits, reels/TikToks, sketches, musical comedy, short animations… if it’s short, and hilarious, we want to see it! The TOsketchfest Film Fest is accepting submissions using FilmFreeway.
Please note acceptance into past festivals does not guarantee a slot in future festivals.
