Marketing & Social Media 101 – Getting bums in seats!
Victoria Laberge, Digital Community Manager for the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, offers up some tips and tricks for marketing your comedy show. Social media is a garbage fire – how can we best use it to our advantage to share our art and bring much-needed laughter to more patrons? In addition to Instagram and Facebook, we’ll discuss using other digital tools like newsletters, online listings and PR to help get the word out about your event. While this session is designed with TOsketchfest artists in mind, it will offer general marketing tips that apply to all artists and arts administrators seeking to grow their audience base.
