Submissions are now OPEN for the 2024 edition of The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival! Toronto’s favourite comedy festival is gearing up for its 19th year, and that means we’re on the lookout for the best scripted comedy from across North America and beyond from now until November 30, 2023.
This is your one stop shop for all things TOsketchfest submissions!
TOsketchfest24 will take place in-person March 6 – 17, 2024 and we’re looking to program a full slate of hilarious live performances plus a selection of the funniest digital shorts for the TOsketchfest Film Festival. The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is programmed through a combination of curation and our adjudicated submissions process.
LIVE PERFORMANCE
We are using Zone Festival to collect LIVE festival submissions for in-person performances March 6-17, 2024. Please note, acceptance into past festivals does not guarantee a slot in future festivals.

TOSKETCHFEST FILM FEST
The TOsketchfest Film Fest is on the lookout for the best comedy shorts in the world produced in the last year. Character bits, reels/TikToks, sketches, musical comedy, short animations… if it’s short, and hilarious, we want to see it! The TOsketchfest Film Fest is accepting submissions using FilmFreeway. NEW – This year we’ve introduced new awards categories such as Outstanding Performance/Character, Outstanding Micro-short, and more!
Please note acceptance into past festivals does not guarantee a slot in future festivals.
