TOsketchfest is once again proud to partner with The Pat & Tony Adams Freedom Fund for the Arts to announce the 8th Annual Sketch Comedy Project Fund – Applications are now open!
The Sketch Comedy Project Fund is Canada’s only funding program cultivating the development of Canadian comedic voices. It’s a comedy grant… on its own terms. Since 2015 The Sketch Comedy Project Fund has provided funding to 23 sketch comedy projects in Toronto.
The Fund will invest in ensemble-based, scripted projects by Canadian comedians working primarily in Toronto.
What does the fund support?
Anything really – just make a case for how your project represents the next step in the comedy careers of your ensemble!
In the past The Fund has supported: touring opportunities, development of live shows, recording comedy albums, working with directors, developing pitch packages… just make the case it’s your next big step!
